The Camp Pendleton Story Part I:

Includes rare film footage taken at Pendleton of: jungle warfare training; ship-to-shore movements; Raider training; live-firing of the pack howitzer; small weapons handling; amtracs at Camp Delmar. Video also includes footage of Marines at Camp Elliott and paratroopers at Camp Gillespie. Interviews with former officers and enlisted including Marine Gen. Raymond Murray. Interviews with Women Reserves, including the late Lena Basilone, wife of the Medal Of Honor recipient. Footage of President Roosevelt's historic visit to the base, as well as clips of training films produced at the base.
